AutoCad Files (.dwg) - will be more detailed and up-to-date but will require software which can be downloaded from the internet for free.
Esri Files (.shp) - require software which can be downloaded from the internet for free.
Mr. Sid Files (.sid) - require software which can be downloaded from the internet for free.
These files (dwg, .shp, .sid) will require you to download or copy and paste them to your computer before viewing with the appropriate software.
Adobe Files (.pdf) - can be viewed on most computers without additional software.
Scanned Image Files (.tiff and . jpg) - can be viewed on most computers without additional software.
Text Files (.doc, .xls) - can be viewed on most computers without additional software.
These files (.pdf, .tiff, .jpg, .doc, .xls) you may be able to access by just double clicking on the file you need if not you will need to download or copy and paste them to your computer before viewing with the appropriate software.
File sizes and file download times will vary and access may be slow. If files are downloaded to your computer, then you will not need to rely on internet speed to access your copy.
