Microsoft 365 Online Access
  1. Go to https://office.com
  2. Click the Sign In button
  3. Log in as first.last@co.hocking.oh.us The username is not case sensitive
  4. Click Next
  5. Click Use a certificate or smart card link on the password screen
  6. Find your name in the list of certificates
  7. You will be prompted to enter your PIN.  Use XXXXXX
  8. Click on Chat for Copilot or Apps to list all web apps that your account has access to.

1.      Plug the YubiKey into the available USB port on any computer.  The gold circle should light up.  If it does not, turn the key over and plug it back in.
 

2.      Go to the website https://outlook.com
 

3.      Click the Sign In button
 

4.      Log in as first.last@co.hocking.oh.us The username is not case sensitive
 

5.      Click Next
 

6.      Click Use a certificate or smart card link on the password screen
 

7.      Find your name in the list of certificates
 

8.      You will be prompted to enter your PIN.  Use XXXXXX
 

9.      Click No if the Stay Signed In prompt appears
 

10. When you close the browser window, you will be automatically logged off.
 

Please note: Your Yubikey only works for your email and not for anyone else.  YubiKeys cost the County $65.00 each.  Make sure to keep your key safe.

 

Teams Voice Isolation

Teams Meetings has a new feature that will allow you to isolate your voice only so you will be the only person heard from your location. This feature will mute any other person talking in your immediate area, so they are not heard to others in your Teams Meeting.

  1. Go to the 3-dot menu in teams
  2. Go to settings option
  3. On the left side menu click on recognition
  4. Create a voice profile by selecting appropriate button
  5. Click on Start voice profile and read the paragraph displayed

Your voice profile will be available a few minutes after and can be used to isolate your voice in the meeting.

To enable or disable this feature, do the following:

  1. Go to the 3-dot menu in Teams
  2. Go to the settings tab
  3. On the left side menu click on Devices
  4. Under the option (Noise Suppression), you can select what noise to suppress
  5. You may also just disable or enable both by selecting on or off
